Our 2010 calendar is now available!

Actually, it's more than a calendar.  It's a memory book.

The calendar is filled with pictures of local seniors participating in and enjoying the many events and activities available in our community.  Most of these events have been made possible by the work and sponsorship of the Isanti County Commission on Aging.

If you are not featured in the calendar, you are sure to know someone who is.  It is a great way to remember friends and the events you shared with them.  It will make a great holiday gift for family friends -- surprise them with your featured picture.  We were fortunate to work with the Scotsman for printing, and the quality is great.

The modest amount of money made from this calendar sale helps the Commission to continue to provide a wide variety of activities for local seniors.

BUY ONE (or two or three or more, they make great gifts) TODAY!!  They are available at SACs, at Cafe Caffeine or from Commission members.  A $10 minimum donation is requested.

SACs "Bring a Vet to Lunch"

Breakfast >>  The SACs Friday breakfast is a fund raising activity for the center.  An all volunteer crew set up the dining area, prepare and deliver the meals, take your money (of course) and stay to clean up after.  You simply need to come hungry, place your order,  visit with your friends and neighbors until your meal is served and then enjoy.

If you would like to volunteer (Fridays from 7 to 10 am), call the Senior Center at 763 689-6555 and leave a message with your contact information, letting them know that you are interested in helping for breakfast -- Look at the smiles on the breakfast crew!  Barbara Nordberg is the coordinator for breakfast and she will contact you when she is short of help.

SACs Third Avenue Red Hatters and Cambridge Health Care Center Residents had a great time donning red hats, playing bingo, visiting and enjoying treats at the Center on January 15th.
